Last Chance

I thought I'd get in my last post of August.

My original post was going to be about Jack and Josie. Jack's definitely in the two-year old mode. I came into my room yesterday and he said, "you're nuts!". So I said, "you're right, I am nuts!". He then repeated it; so I repeated my statement. Then he got upset and said, "I don't want to be right!" I don't know if he was disappointed that he didn't get the right reaction from me or that he didn't want to have a Grammo that's headed for the looney bin.

Josie on the other hand is just blooming left and right. When you can get her away from Harry Potter she's making books. She now announced that she wants to be a writer when she grows up. Not wanting to give up her art; she also wants to be an illustrator. So, she came up with the term authorator (there must be some of them in the world since the spell check didn't catch it).

Today, not wanting to repeat the same stay at home all day time we had yesterday; we went to Memorial Park and their zoo. It's not the San Diego Zoo but it was a very nice site. There was a bear; deer; river otters; some birds of prey; an alligator; and a snake to name a few. Follow that up with McDonald's and Dairy Queen. And this is probably only big news to me but I saw Jamie Deen (Paula Deen's son) with his wife and son. I'm thinking they were in town for the big game yesterday.

Of course, back to Harry Potter.
