Momentum

A new season for the ACS has started and there's an opportunity to try out for a quartet in one of the songs we're doing. Part of me wants to keep the momentum going after singing a solo this summer. I hear in the back of my head that I should not slide back into my old habits of being in the background. The other part of me says I've got lots to do and I should be concentrating on those things instead of adding more to an already full plate.

The alto part is very high and certainly would be a test of my vocal skills. Just singing the Rutter and the Hayden are challenging. I think I will be happy with that.
